Residential Services
Each person not only receives the supervision needed to protect their health and safety, but they also receive the support needed to remain as independent as possible. Our residential settings are typical homes in any residential neighborhood. Typically 3-4 individuals share a home with each individual having their own private bedroom. Staff members assist individuals in a variety of ways including but not limited to:
- Meal selection and preparation
- Transportation to and from appointments and activities
- 24/7 supervision and monitoring
- Medication administration and management
- Daily hygiene and independent living skills
- Planning and coordinating activities and outings
- Coordination of medical care and treatment
The goal of our residential service is to provide every individual with the opportunity to connect with the community, form lifelong relationships, and chose the things they want to do each day. We are aware of and sensitive to each individual’s specific support needs and adjust our staffing and approach to meet the needs of each individual. SLS provides trained and qualified staff to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
